Developer
Hi, I'm a Singaporean CS student currently studying at NUS. For my own National Service, I served under SCDF, and often found it difficult to track my own unique NS shift schedule. I developed "ORDLoh!" to solve this problem, and to easily share with friends our ORD progress.
Acknowledgements
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, fellow beta testers and colleagues from national service (regulars & fellow NSFs) for their invaluable contributions to my development of ORDLoh! — your unwavering support, feedback, and collaborative efforts since day one have made this project really enjoyable.
To my colleagues, seniors and juniors from national service, thank you for your mentorship, guidance and companionship. Your ideas, feedback and experiences were what inspired me to create this fun project.
To my family and friends, thank you all for always being supportive; your interest and constant encouragement for this small project allowed me to finally stop procrastinating and release this app.
Of course, to everyone I consulted along the way, your feedback and suggestions enhanced the functionality and user experience of this project, which I am truly grateful for.
Finally, I would like to thank the many sources that have inspired this project. ORDLoh! wouldn't be complete today without inspiration from existing NS countdown apps like OWADIO, creative ideas from comrades during sian duties in NS as well as countless online sources and professionals. It's been both fun and cool sharing my very own app project with hundreds and thousands of fellow Singaporeans.
I hope that ORDLoh! can help make those 2 years of every Singaporean NSF just a bit more enjoyable.
With that, HAPPY ORD LOH!
